Shampoo in Bar Form
Here's a natural solid shampoo bar -- perfect for camping, gym, or traveling on vacation.
Why use bar shampoo? A liquid detergent shampoo is very good at cleaning your hair -- so good that it also strips your hair of natural oils. And it also deposits residue. This shampoo bar won't strip the hair, but instead leaves those natural oils on your scalp. You should notice a differnce after about a week's use.
This lovely bar is loaded with moisturizing Coconut Milk, Jojoba Oil, Flax Seed Oil, Avacoda & Argan Oil (known for being rich in vitamin E), carotenes, antioxidants and essential fatty acids to make hair shiny and soft. And great for your skin too! Truly an "all over" bar.
Here are a few tips to help get you on the way to chemical free and lovely locks!
1. Lather. Rinse. Repeat. Washing your hair the first time gets rid of the dirt and excess oils. That second lather is important to completely cleanse the hair.
2. Rinse VERY well. Remember, this isn't a chemcial. A good rinse is very important to get all of the soap out of your hair.
3. To keep the hair shiny, use an apple cider vinegar rinse about once a week. Mix 1/4 cup (dry hair) to 1 cup (oily hair) of apple cider vinegar with 12-16 ounces of water. Experiment to find a dilution that works best for you.
4. Check your water type. If you have hard water, you may find it better to rinse your hair in distilled water or a very light apple cider vinegar rinse.
